I’m off to see my Clinical Psychiatrist on the 9th, no it’s not because I’m going loopy, it’s just a friendly visit to see her to show her how I’ve got on and to thank her for everything she helped me with in the early days of my transition.

I’ve not seen her for ages, so it will be a good opportunity to catch up and to find out if she has any news on the situation that others may be facing with the long fight for funding from the Health Commission Wales (HCW), which will give me the chance to post any updates about the HCW etc to this little blog and to post about them on the GRS Wales website so those that  may be starting on the transition road may find useful and what hurdles they may have to jump to get anywhere with the pig-headed HCW.

Anyway that’s on the 9th May, I’ve not got far to travel it’s only into Liverpool, it’ll be a day out and an excuse to do some shopping ;)

I’ll post any news and updates around the time when I get back, but until then, ciao for now!
