Get the right GRS Wales website!!!

It seems that the old GRS Wales “net” website has risen from it’s ashes like a phoenix from the flames. It has also got our website on it, we have looked into this and the old domain has been bought and the website is there as clear as day, please take heed that the proper address for the GRS Wales website is http://www.grswales.co.uk and do not visit any other GRS Wales websites ending with .net

Hair Ball!

I got back late last night after seeing Mr Terry at the Nuffield Hospital, so I was too tired to blog last night, so here it is now:

It seems that the bleeding that I developed from my neo-vagina is from a “hair ball” that has developed, this is one of the problems that can happen after gender surgery and is nothing to worry about, so it’s now a simple case of making a day appointment to be knocked out for five minutes while Mr Terry scrapes out the “hair ball”,  hopefully this will be done next week, I’ll make my appointment on Monday morning..

Does the HCW care about those with GID?

While working on the updates to the GRSWales website I noticed that the links to the “interesting PDF files” are now been re-directed to the new Welsh Assembly Government website, it seems that nearly all links or information on GID (Gender Identity Disorder) and GRS (Gender Reassignment Surgery) have been removed from their website.

So the question I’m asking is, Does the Health Commission Wales care about those of us diagnosed with GID or is it that they have a total disregard for something they do not understand, it certainly seems that they have no interest in the subjects of GID or GRS and are making it nigh on impossible for anyone living in Wales to get any help whatsoever.

I’m going to look further into this and get in touch the Clinical Psychologist I had to see through my transition to see if she can shine any light on what is happening with the Health Service in Wales with regards to gender issues.

But in the meantime, if anyone has any information or is having problems with funding or even getting any scrap of help from the HCW with regards to GID or GRS then please let me know.
