Just been surfing the net and Wordpress blogs came upon this really using post on the TopOutColleges Blog.

Sometimes the things we dread the most are the things most necessary.  Coming out to one’s parents is a trip down memory lane, but coming out to yourself is not always as simple.  Coming out to yourself is admitting that you’re different.  It is admitting that you found you.  And although we all have much more personal growth to do than just putting a GLBT stamp on our foreheads, it does make finding oneself sometimes a little easier.

HATE CRIME IS…I came across this website today, the website is funded by the police is designed to provide information about Hate Crime. The police service recognises that hate crime comes in many different forms, this includes Homophobic and Transphobic Hate Crime.The webiste includes information on how to get a self-reporting pack as well as other leaflets, an option to report on-line (which is sadly down at the moment), how to contact your local police force and some useful links to sites such as victim support etc. Read the rest of this entry »
