Yet another warm day!

I can’t believe it, I’ve just got home from work and it’s been another hot day, typical I spend most of the day in work and it’s hot!

Two days in a row, fingers crossed that we are going to have gorgeous weather tomorrow as well.

I hope it’s like this tomorrow so that I can use my push bike to work ;)

Wow it’s been a warm day today!

I can’t believe how warm it has been today! Got into work this morning about 9:30 and finally got home at 2, so I’ve just spent a good hour in the sun in the back garden with lashings of sun cream and my bikini on ;)

It’s such a shame that this weather doesn’t stay like this day after day, tomorrow we’ll probably have torrential downpours again!!!

I HATE SEAGULLS!!!!

I was awoken at around 5:30 by the incessant screeching of baby seagulls on my conservatory roof this morning, it’s always around this time of year the the damn things decide to bang about on peoples roofs and do nothing but screech from around five in the morning for about four hours or more.

It seems that over the past few years they have got worse and when you go out and try to shoo them away you get one of the bird loving neighbours screaming at you to “stop it”, STOP IT, it’s not on their bloody roof and majority of the time it’s their fault for feeding them in their back gardens, time and time again people are told not to feed the gulls as this causes them to populate even more in the area.

Are they just plain stupid or what, I mean honestly, it’s like Hitchcock’s “The Birds” around by us sometimes, if I had my way I’d have all of them shot!!!

Glad that’s of my chest I feel much better, sorry about that everyone, it just make me so mad!  ;)

Busy day in work today!

I’ve had a very busy day in work today, but what really made my day is, I popped into a friends shop to pick up some bits and pieces, while I was about to leave to take everything to the car, a man in the shop said “Let me take one of those bags for you” and then said to my friend “I’ll just help this young lady with this bag to her car”.

It made my day, I know I get accepted everywhere, but, it’s little things like this that really boost my confidence and make my day ;)

MP’s money fears on sex change ops

Does MP Mark Pritchard have any idea on the real issues of funding for those diagnosed with gender dysphoria and if he did would he really say that “It is a matter of choice” to have surgery, in 99% of cases it is not a matter of choice, it is more so a life changing moment in life, when life finally starts the way it should of been from birth.

GenesReunited and the issue of Transgender

I got in touch with GenesReunited today and asked them for a recommendation of the issues of transgender in their family trees and if they would consider an option for those who have changed gender.

Their response is that you should either:

a) Add your gender as it is on your original birth certificate
or
b) Alternatively add to the notes section on the family tree mentioning that you have under gone gender reassignment.

I personally opted for (b) and added notes, but then the problem arises when you need to add a previous partner and children as you can’t add the same sex partner, hmmm. But as my kids and ex and disowned me and classed me as some abomination, It doesn’t make any difference, but suffice to say that the lost relatives I have found are great ;)
