Does the HCW care about those with GID?

While working on the updates to the GRSWales website I noticed that the links to the “interesting PDF files” are now been re-directed to the new Welsh Assembly Government website, it seems that nearly all links or information on GID (Gender Identity Disorder) and GRS (Gender Reassignment Surgery) have been removed from their website.

So the question I’m asking is, Does the Health Commission Wales care about those of us diagnosed with GID or is it that they have a total disregard for something they do not understand, it certainly seems that they have no interest in the subjects of GID or GRS and are making it nigh on impossible for anyone living in Wales to get any help whatsoever.

I’m going to look further into this and get in touch the Clinical Psychologist I had to see through my transition to see if she can shine any light on what is happening with the Health Service in Wales with regards to gender issues.

But in the meantime, if anyone has any information or is having problems with funding or even getting any scrap of help from the HCW with regards to GID or GRS then please let me know.

A while since my last post

I know it’s been a while since my last post, but I’ve quite busy lately.

I’ve made another appointment to see Mr Terry regarding the niggle I have with a sensative bit of skin and now have an appointment for the 19th July, hopefully it’s nothing too serious and something that some silver nitrate will solve.

I been emailed recently regarding advice on the tuck method, for those wishing to know more on how to do this then read the post here on The Tuck Method which should help.

Also I’ve been asked about how to guides there are also some of those here, kindly supplied by Pamela Sexton I will be adding some more in the next few days, so keep them eyes peeled or even better subscribe to my feed ;)
