My big day is nearly here…

It’s not long now and it will be my big day, I’ve had a few sleepless nights lately, I wouldn’t say I’m worried about the surgery, just excited really that the day is nearly here that I’ve been waiting for, for such a long time.
I always thought that my day would never come round, especially in the way that the Health Commission Wales would not agree to funding my surgery as they class it as “having no clinical need” and a waste of resources.
So after years of fighting for the right to funding, I have had to go down the road that many others in Wales may have to go, the private road, which is very expensive, around £8000, but funny enough if you have surgery done on the National Health it costs almost double strange that really.
Anywho as I will be away having my surgery soon, then I will not be able to post to this little blog of mine, but, I will be taking notes while in the hospital with dates of what is going on, then when I get back I will posting my notes with the dates, just for you.
